After years of rigorous study and extensive training, I began practicing as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in 2006. My extensive psychiatric knowledge combined with my easygoing personality and unwavering optimism has defined my success in treating children and adolescents with mental health needs. MY CAREER
From Academics to Private Practice

June 2006-June 2010
I began my career at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital. As Director of Inpatient Psychiatry, I helped plan and open RB&C's brand-new child psychiatry unit. I still maintain a faculty affiliation with the Department of Psychiatry at UH.

June 2010-October 2017
I was the Director of Child and Adolescent Services at Windsor Laurelwood Hospital, where I oversaw 54 inpatient beds on 3 child and adolescent psychiatry units.

I practiced outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry at Signature Health, a community mental health agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Willoughby.

January 2017-Present
The Western Reserve Center for Mental Wellness is my private psychiatry practice in Pepper Pike. My goal in establishing this practice was to provide outpatient psychiatric care in an independent setting free from the burdensome constraints created by insurance companies.

I was one of Ohio's first physicians to become certified to recommend medical marijuana. With my trusted colleagues Solomon Zaraa D.O. and Nora McNamara M.D., I provide medical marijuana assessments at my Pepper Pike office as a contractor for Compassionate Cleveland.

I am currently a child and adolescent psychiatry contractor for Ohio Guidestone, a community mental health agency. I work part time at both the Brook Park and Downtown Cleveland office locations.

Outside of medicine I am also passionate about music, pinball, Cleveland sports teams, and of most of all my wife and three children!
